"Jiaan - Born in Yew, Jiaan had never known great wealth or power. He was the Son of a woods guide, and his first steps were on tracks in the woods near his home. The forest had always been his home, had always felt safe, had always sheltered him in times of trouble. It was to his dismay that his parents were killed by a fallen tree in a storm. His home wrecked by a natural disaster, his only responsibilities in life taken from him, he was now a young man, able to live off the land, with nothing to do and nowhere to go.
